I am a Microsoft database and business intelligence professional, passionate about lots of things data. My day job is working for Brandix i3 as a Senior Architect where I work on business intelligence stuff. I hold an MSc, am a Microsoft MVP for SQL Server since 2008, am a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and a former Microsoft Certified Trainer. I have experience designing solutions for business intelligence, data migration and integration, and varied database applications. I have new found fascination with self-service business intelligence, and have started playing around with big data and machine learning. As a subject matter expert, I have been engaged in developing questions and setting standards for Microsoft certification exams.

I am actively involved with technical communities. I lead the local Microsoft data community, organizing meet-ups and speaking at them; I have spoken at local and international technical events, and have also tried my hand at authoring and reviewing textbooks on business intelligence.

I also triple up as a trainer, teaching classes on the Microsoft Official Curriculum and running training programs on database and business intelligence.

All thoughts conveyed in this blog are mine, and by no means reflect that of my employer 🙂
